With a career spanning 20 years, Daren has established himself as a reliable leader in the ever-evolving landscape of digital security.

Daren began his career in the U.S. Navy Submarine Force, where he developed a strong foundation in disciplined, secure communications and systems operations under pressure. Following his service, he transitioned into the technology sector, quickly distinguishing himself with a knack for innovative solutions and strategic IT security enhancements. Daren has earned certifications as a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

As a Cybersecurity & Network leader, Daren brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. His track record of designing, implementing, and managing robust security architectures that protect against a wide range of cyber threats, from malware and ransomware to sophisticated cyber-attacks.

In addition to his proficiency in cybersecurity, Daren is also well-versed in network infrastructure, with a deep understanding of protocols, routing, and switching technologies. Daren specializes in designing resilient network architectures that ensure seamless connectivity while mitigating risks and vulnerabilities.

Daren is a forward-thinking professional who stays ahead of the curve when it comes to emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity and networking. He is adept at leveraging tools such as intrusion detection systems (IDS), security information and event management (SIEM) platforms, vulnerability management tools, and next- generation firewalls to proactively detect and mitigate threats.

Beyond his technical prowess, Daren is also skilled in communication and collaboration, able to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive security measures that align with business objectives. He also is a member of Cincinnati ISSA and ISC2 to both share industry knowledge and stay current on security trends.

In his spare time Daren enjoys watching sports (especially the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes) with his adult sons, ATV/UTV riding, spending time with grand- children, and attending church activities.

Dedicated to giving back to the community, Daren serves as a board member for Impacting Tomorrow, a local initiative committed to addressing food insecurity and providing essential clothing to those in need. His involvement underscores his commitment to social responsibility and community service. Daren also has held numerous civic organization leadership positions to include Milford-Miami Township Chamber of Commerce President, Rotary Club of Batavia, Ohio President, and Cincinnati-Eastside Rotary Club President.
